RACHEL works the nightshift, out of sync with daily life. When she is suspected of stealing from a delivery driver, it creates a fracture in the fragile social support structure she has created. Filled with dread, Rachel risks exposing the nature and extent of her own drug use. Facing ever-increasing threats through the haze of her addiction, Rachel is forced to confront her own deceptions.
A WOMAN OF GOOD ABILITIES is a contemporary thriller that stars Vinette Robinson (BOILING POINT) and BAFTA-nominated James Nelson-Joyce (THIS CITY IS OURS, A THOUSAND BLOWS). The creative team includes cinematographer Susanne Salavati, BSC (THE LAZARUS PROJECT), editor Chiara Armentano (BIRD, RAY & LIZ) and sound designer Tim Harrison (FLUX GOURMET, SAIPAN). Produced by Carley Armstrong of True Moon Pictures. The film is exec-produced by Prano Bailey-Bond (CENSOR) and Ben Taylor.
